Reserving and paying

Sending a reservation request does not charge you and does not guarantee a camcorder. Your rental is confirmed when we email a confirmation and your invoice is paid. Package prices, add ons and extra rental days are listed on the packages page.

Your rental period

A standard rental is 7 days. We recommend a first rental day 3 days before your wedding. Extra days are $25 each and can be added when you reserve.

Shipping

We ship within the United States. Shipping to you and back to us is included in every package. Your kit is scheduled to arrive on or before the first day of your rental. A prepaid return label is included in the box.

Returns

Drop the box off for return by the last day of your rental, which is normally within 72 hours of your event. Kits returned late are billed at the extra day rate for each day past the deadline.

Taking care of the kit

The camcorder, batteries, charger, memory card, bag and any add ons remain the property of Toast & Tape. Please return all of it in working condition. Lost, damaged or unreturned items are billed at replacement cost, which is itemized in your booking confirmation.

If the camcorder arrives with a problem

Film a test clip when the box arrives. If something is not working, contact us right away and we will send a replacement as fast as shipping allows.

Your footage and film

We deliver your organized raw footage 2 to 3 weeks after your kit is returned, and your edited film 5 to 7 weeks after that. Timing can run longer in peak season. We can only edit what was filmed, so we cannot guarantee that a specific moment was captured by your guests.

Privacy and sharing

Your footage is yours. We do not post or share any of it publicly without your written permission.

Changes and cancellations

The terms for rescheduling or cancelling a confirmed rental are set out in your booking confirmation. If your plans change, tell us as early as you can.
